2008-09 (Fr.): Took a redshirt for Bemidji State after suffering a season-ending injury early in the season. Recorded two assists in her first-career game against Wayne State (Jan. 3, 2009).

Prior to BSU: Erickson was a Top-5 finalist for the Ms. Hockey Award, given annually to the top senior girls’ high school hockey player in Minnesota...lettered for six years...played in the 2007 and ‘08 state hockey tournaments, finishing second her senior year...was awarded the Herb Brooks award during senior year...named to the 2008 AA state hockey all-tournament team, and was named to the Associated Press All-State first team...Erickson lettered once in track and field, four times in softball and six times in tennis during her high school career...was also a member of the National Honor Society and was on the Honor Roll.

Personal: Emily Faye Marie Erickson...Born Oct. 10, 1989...Daughter of Randy and Ginny Erickson...Majoring in secondary mathematics education and education administration.
