Vichorek played in every game and led all defensemen in scoring with three goals and 10 assists for 13 points...became just the third Beaver defenseman to notch double-digit assists in a single season...scored twice on the power play...scored against North Dakota (Dec. 13, 2008 and Jan. 30, 2009) and Minnesota Duluth (Feb. 6, 2008).
Prior to BSU: Vichorek was a four-year letterwinner in hockey, and was captain her senior year...named to the all-area first team junior and senior years...all-conference first team twice...all-state honorable mention junior year and all-state first team senior year...USA Hockey National Development Camp participant freshman and sophomore years...K-1 Sportswear Stars of the North All-State participant junior and senior years...team took second place in state in 2005 and placed third in state in ‘06...she lettered three years in volleyball, was named Rookie of the Year in 2005 and was a captain twice...was on the All-Conference First Team in track in 2006, ‘07 and ‘08, and lettered five years in track...made All-Conference in the 300-meter hurdles, the long jump and the triple jump...broke the school record in the triple jump...was on the All-State Academic Team.
