BEMIDJI, Minn. - The Bemidji State University women’s basketball coaching staff has announced that the BSU women’s basketball program will facilitate two girl’s basketball camps this summer. The Elementary Camp, taking place from June 16-19, is open to players entering grades K-6 while the High School Camp will take place from July 20-23 and is open to players entering 7-12 grades.
The emphases of the elementary camp will include: individual skill work (shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding, and defense) along with team competitions and games. The high school camp will focus more on individual and team skill instruction, along with offensive and defensive team concepts, games and contests.
The Elementary Camp runs from June 16-19 with players entering grades k-3 hitting the court from 9 a.m. -12 p.m. and players entering grades 4-6 going from 2-5 p.m.
The High School Camp will start on July 20 and end July 23 with a overnight or commuter camper option for all participants.
