2006-07 (Freshman): Played in 12 games averaging 3.4 minutes per contest...she was 1-2 (.500) from the field and was 3-3 (1.000) from the free-throw line...grabbed eleven rebounds, five offensive and six defensive and had two assists and one steal during her freshman campaign.

St. Michael-Albertville Career:
A two-sport stand-out at St. Michael-Albertville High School, Nelson earned two letters in volleyball and three playing basketball for the Knights...she averaged 11 points, five rebounds and five assists per game helping to lead the Knights to three consecutive Mississippi 8 Conference championships and to the state tournament for the second time in school history...her overall athleticism was evident as she was also honored on the all-conference team in volleyball...was also a member of Mississippi 8 volleyball championship team...Nelson also excels in the classroom...she is a member of St. Michael-Albertville High’s “A” Honor Roll, has been awarded with Academic Excellence in math and business, is a five-time academic all-conference recipient and graduated from St. Michael-Albertville High School with honors.

Personal: The daughter of Tony and Colleen Nelson...she was born September 25, 1978 in Bozeman, Mont...Nelson is majoring in mathmatics/secndary education at BSU.
