Campus Garden Workshop Held

Erika Bailey-Johnson, sustainability coordinator, and Laurie Desiderato, professor of psychology, hosted the first of what will now be monthly gardening workshops on Tuesday at the Gitigaan (garden) site. This first workshop included information on what plants to plant in cold vs. warmer weather and mulching techniques. The campus-community garden is located on the corner of 16th street and Birch Lane, near the Education-Arts building on the BSU campus. Photos


Junior-high aged Lego® maniacs will have a chance to develop their skills this summer at the RoboStorm camp hosted by Northwest Technical College. On June 19-20, kids entering the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades this fall can get an introduction to the world of robotics and engineering through hands-on activities with Lego® Mindstorm robots....
