The session is free and open to all who are interested in learning about the topic.
Presenting will be Rick Demers, training specialist with Leech Lake Gaming, Cass Lake, Minn. He will give an overview of evaluation writing as a process rather than an isolated event including the evaluation process, types of information gathered and the writing of the evaluation itself. Handout materials will be available to those attending.
"If you can't measure something, you can't manage it. If you can't measure something, you can't coach it. If you can't measure something, you can't recognize it," said Demers.
Demers possesses experience in management, small business and social services. As a training specialist with Leech Lake Gaming, his training sessions include evaluation writing, incident report writing, business grammar and writing, and assorted other management topics as well as stress management and conflict resolution.
The information covered in this session should be useful to anyone who currently does, or will be doing employee evaluations.
