BEMIDJI, Minn. - Tickets are now on sale for the annual Snow Ball dinner and dance, an evening of big band music presented by the Bemidji State University Department of Music at the Bemidji Town and Country Club on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008.
Tickets may be reserved for $60 each through the BSU Department of Music at 755-2915. Proceeds support instrumental music scholarships for students attending BSU.
The gala will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m. followed by a gourmet dinner at 7 p.m. featuring crown roast of pork and an evening of dancing from 8-11 p.m. to the music of the BSU Jazz Band I and vocalists under the direction of Dr. Steven Konecne, BSU professor of instrumental music. Vegetarian meals will be provided on request. Valet parking and coat check will be available.
In addition, the evening will include a silent auction featuring prizes donated by local and regional businesses.
