BEMIDJI, Minn. — Bemidji State University Varsity Singers will present its seventh annual “A Community Christmas” concert at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8, in the Thompson Recital Hall of the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex. Admission is a canned food donation for the Bemidji Community Food Shelf.
Always a family-friendly concert, the Varsity Singers, under the direction of Patricia Mason, will present a variety of seasonal selections, which includes “Tis the Spirit of the Season,” a Welch Lullaby, a joyous “Hodie!” and a 30-second “Fa La La.”
Members of “Freewheelin’ Lindy Hoppers,” a Suzy and Hondo dance group, will join the Varsity Singers on two numbers and also perform a selection of pieces on their own.
