Second Annual Midwinter Interlude faculty/staff art show opens Feb. 21

BEMIDJI, Minn. (Feb. 15, 2011) — Bemidji State’s Second Annual Midwinter Interlude, an exhibit of arts and crafts created by faculty and staff at the University, will open Monday, Feb. 21.

The show will be located in the Ramsey Gallery of Bemidji State’s Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex; gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Midwinter Interlude will run through March 18. An open house reception for the show will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23; refreshments will be available.

The inaugural Midwinter Interlude last year featured works by 17 exhibitors and included photography, stained glass, wood carving, sculpture, jewelry, quilting, knitting, painting, fishing tackle, drawing and other forms of arts and crafts.
