Student music recitals scheduled this weekend

BEMIDJI, Minn. (Feb. 22, 2011) — Bemidji State University’s Department of Music will feature senior recitals by a pair of students this weekend in the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex.

• Saturday, Feb. 26: Lacey Homuth, soprano
Homuth, a senior in music from Grand Forks, N.D., presents her senior vocal recital. Homuth is a soprano. Her concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Thompson Recital Hall of Bemidji State’s Bangsberg complex. Admission is free.

• Sunday, Feb. 27: Bob Opgrand, trumpet
Opgrand, a senior in music with a minor in biochemistry from Fargo, N.D., presents his senior trumpet recital. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Thompson Recital Hall of Bemidji State’s Bangsberg complex. Admission is free.
