"A Prairie Home Companion" coming to Bemidji State

Radio personality Garrison Keillor is bringing his world-famous A Prairie Home Companion to Bemidji State University on Saturday, Feb. 12.

Keillor, along with actors Tim Russell and Sue Scott, sound effects ace Tom Keith, the Guy’s All-Star Shoe Band led by Richard Dworsky and other special guests, will bring his unique voice to Bemidji State’s John S. Glas Fieldhouse. Tickets for the 4:45 p.m. performance are available through Ticketmaster for $40, $35 or $25. To purchase tickets, visit Ticketmaster, call (800) 982-2787 or visit any Ticketmaster outlet. Student tickets will be available beginning on Feb. 2.

Minnesota Public Radio members can also obtain tickets by contacting the MPR Box Office at (651) 290-1200.

A Prairie Home Companion is produced by Prairie Home Productions, and distributed nationwide by American Public Media. The program is underwritten by General Mills and Ford.
