OPC events for Aug. 15-24, 2011

BEMIDJI, Minn. (August 9, 2011) — Bemidji State University’s Outdoor Program Center kicks off its fall activity schedule on Monday, Aug. 15, with an introduction to the weight room.

Aug. 15 - Introduction to the Weight Room, 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Learn proper use of weight machines and free weights. Free.

Aug. 16 - Paddle to the State Park, departs at noon. Free; contact OPC at (218) 755-2999 to register.

Aug. 17 - Kayak Skills II Course, 6-8 p.m.

Aug. 24 - Sailing Clinic, 1-3 p.m. Small boat safety and basic knotting, rigging and capsize procedures intended for beginning sailors. Call (218) 755-2900 for more information or to register.
