Introductory climbing class set for Nov. 29

BEMIDJI, Minn. — Bemidji State University’s Outdoor Program Center (OPC) will offer a free climbing class from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 at the climbing wall in the Gillett Recreation-Fitness Center.

Tailored to beginners, the class offers instruction about knots, climbing equipment and basic techniques. It is open to the public. OPC will provide harnesses and climbing shoes. There is no recreation center admission charge for this class.
