OPC to offer intro to rock climbing course on Nov. 11

BEMIDJI, Minn. —  Bemidji State University’s Outdoor Program Center (OPC) will offer a free introductory rock climbing clinic on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

Tailored to beginners, the rock climbing class offers instruction about knots, climbing equipment and basic climbing techniques. The class will be held from 6-9 p.m. at the rock climbing wall in the Gillett Recreation and Fitness Center on the BSU campus and is open to the public.

The OPC will provide harnesses and climbing shoes. There is no recreation center admission charge for this class.
