OPC leads Dec. 6 cross-country ski outing to Three Island Trails

BEMIDJI, Minn. — Bemidji State University’s Outdoor Program Center (OPC) will offer an introductory cross-country ski class on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Instructors will demonstrate basic skills including standing, turning and recovering from a fall. OPC will provide all equipment.

Participants will meet at the pool in the Gillett Recreation and Fitness Center on the Bemidji State campus and take a shuttle to Beltrami County’s Three Island Park, where multiple ski trails wind around Three Island Lake and Turtle River. The cost is $10.

Those interested in participating are encouraged to call the OPC to confirm the start time for the event in advance.
