Outdoor Program Center offers ski shuttles, ice climbing trip

BEMIDJI, Minn. (Feb. 2, 2011) — Bemidji State University’s Outdoor Program Center will offer its regular free shuttle to Bemidji’s Buena Vista Ski Area each of the next two Fridays, and a Feb. 5 ice-climbing trip to the North Shore.

Friday, Feb. 4 & Friday, Feb. 11 - Buena Vista ski shuttle
The Outdoor Program Center’s every-Friday shuttle to Bemidji’s Buena Vista Ski Area. Riders should meet in the lobby of the Gillett Recreation and Fitness Center lobby; shuttles will depart at 5 p.m. and return after Buena Vista’s last lift at 8 p.m. The shuttles have a maximum capacity of eight passengers, so interested riders are encouraged to call ahead at (218) 755-2999 to reserve a spot.

Saturday, Feb. 5 - North Shore ice-climbing trip
An all-day ice-climbing trip to Lake Superior’s North Shore area. For more information regarding this trip, including schedule and pricing, contact Mark Morrissey at the Outdoor Program Center at (218) 755-3900.
