Pine Hall residents show off the Do It In The Dark trophy presented to the BSU dorm which had the largest reduction of electrical consumption. Students for the Environment held the energy consumption competition for both on-campus and off-campus students throughout the month of November. Residence halls were involved in direct competition with one another to reduce per-capita energy consumption which Pine won by reducing electrical consumption by 15%. BSU has been declared the winner of the Minnesota Campus Energy Challenge, a competition amongst seven higher education institutions in the state to see which could see the largest reduction of energy consumption during the month of February. complete story
