9:00am - Talley Gallery Exhibit
The exhibition, "Minnesota Potters: Sharing the Fire," will exhibit the work of four of the best-known potters in Minnesota: Richard Breshahan, Robert Briscoe, Linda Christianson and Warren McKenzie;and potters with whom those four have shared their knowledge and expertise: Guillero Cuellar, Steven Lemke, Jason Trebs and Jil Franke. The exhibit will celebrate the ways that knowledge, experience and spirit, and pottery as a tradition, are passed from person to person. The participating artists have been key contributors to Bemidji's annual "It's Only Clay" competition at the Bemidji Community Art Center.

Please join us at the Shaping Our Future Campus and Community dialogue as we discuss different perspectives on the public purposes of higher education, Identify local priorities and opportunities for collaboration, and leave with new connections and ideas for action. 6:00pm - Traditional Skills Workshop
Making Chili and Spaghetti Sauce with Canned Tomatoes! The objectives of this course is to use canned tomatoes to make chili and spaghetti sauce and bring some home. Max participants: 15. Interested participants can either come to the Sustainability Office ahead of time to sign up (across from the Hobson Info. Desk) or email ebaileyjohnson@bemidjistate.edu. Space is limited so REGISTER EARLY!
