"Transcendental Terrain," an exhibit by Emily Wendland. Originally from Duluth, Wendland moved to Bemidji to attend Bemidji State. She will graduate in December with a bachelor's degree in art. She says that living in Northern Minnesota has influenced the way she composes her art. Wendland continues to describe her artwork as "quirky," saying that she likes to be able to smile at her work.

12:00pm - Tuesday Free Lunch Meal
Lutheran Campus Ministry offers a free home-cooked meal on Tuesdays from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the Lutheran Campus Center and so far we have averaged 20+ students joining us this fall of 2012. Last year we invited faculty/administration/staff to join us and 1) just sit and eat and hang out with us or 2) speak about a topic of their choice and interest to the students for ten minutes and leave another fifteen minutes or so for questions and discussion. Among the presenters last year were Barbara Eriksson-Capes and Larry Hanus from the Health and Counseling Center, Dale Ladig from Residential Life, and Mary Tosch from the Student Union. If any of you would like to present information on a topic of interest and then lead a short discussion, contact Pastor Jim Holthus (PJ) at 760-2028 or e-mail him at lootrn@hotmail.com. We would love to have a variety of people share their thoughts this year!
