Ivan Ninov, considered the leading graphic artist in Bulgaria, will be featured with an exhibit entitled "Drawn from the Balkans." The exhibit will feature a collection of Ninov's powerful, expressive drawings and prints. His style has been described as "monumental and harsh" while displaying Ninov's "inner strength and power."

Reinforce your safety program and build your professional safety skills by joining us for the 8th Annual Northern Minnesota Safety Conference. Senior Director of ConAgra Foods, Tom Culross, will talk on the "Challenging the Conventional Wisdom of the Safety Pro." Breakout sessions will address topics such as MN OSHA overview, record keeping, health and wellness, behavior based safety and much more including the big topic of Global Harmonization.

Preparing for the Professional Workplace Presenters: Rebecca Dawley, First Vice President-Director of Information Services, Federated Mutual Insurance Co., "Entering a Male-dominated Work Place"; Nikki Brink, First National Bank Bemidji, Human Resources director, "The Role of Human Resources"; Susan Rickers, Assistant Professor of Social Work, Bemidji State University, "Maintaining Work/Life Balance"; Nancy Haugen, BSU Career Services Assoc. Director, "Resources for Entering the Workforce". "A diverse workforce combines workers from different backgrounds and experiences that together breed a more creative, innovative, and productive workforce. And businesses have learned that they can draw upon our nation's diversity to strengthen their bottom line. In this way, diversity is a key ingredient to growing a strong and inclusive economy that's built to last." Each of our panelists will take about ten minutes to present information on her topic. When the presentations are finished, there will be time for discussion.
