3:00pm - Festival of Nations
We are delighted to announce and invite all of you to Bemidji State's 44th annual Festival of Nations sponsored by the International Student Organization. Ticket sales will begin shortly before 3 p.m. This year's festival promises to entertain, engage, inform and tantalize your taste buds. We will open with a colorful Flag ceremony and the singing of our National anthem followed by performances by students as well as a traditional dress fashion show along with country and regional exhibits. With each purchase comes tickets for three choices of our "taste of international cuisine" and beverage; it also buys you a ticket to our raffle. Additional food tickets will be sold at the event. Raffle items include a 30-day unlimited Level 1 Tanning Card at Del Sol Tanning, a Target Gift, and 2 JC Penney Gift Cards. We will also be announcing when our SILENT AUCTION for a DRAGON BOAT REGISTRATION for this summer's Dragon Boat event will begin. We appreciate our university and community sponsors who have helped with this event: Bemidji Chamber of Commerce, Beltrami Electric, Target, Del Sol Tanning, Academic Affairs, Model UN and Student Affairs. Your personal contribution on the day of the event helps us defray the costs of food preparation. We look forward to seeing all of you on April 6!
