*General Session Synopsis:
he adolescents of today live in a world full of risks of teen suicide, pregnancy, experimentation with drugs and alcohol, and school violence. Knowing that 70% of all deaths among youth ages 10-24 result from lifestyle choices, we need solutions! As professionals we can make a positive difference in the lives of youth by empowering them with the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy decisions. This keynote will address current trends in adolescent behavior as well as five elements that are critical for effective wellness education and health promotion.
Presenter: Deb Tackmann
**In-Depth Workshops
