The Minnesota Northwoods Writers Conference will not be held in 2009. In its six years of operation, 2003-2008, it brought to campus more than 300 participants from across the United States. In addition, 34 Bemidji State English majors served as interns for MNWC's nationally-known faculty and visiting writers.
