Participants are invited to stay in
the university's residence halls where they will
be housed together in a wing of Tamarak Hall.
Tamarak is the tallest building in Beltrami County, with a beautiful view of Lake Bemidji and the Bemidji area. Social and study lounges are located on the twelfth floor and are often the site of impromptu participant gatherings for informal readings, workshops, and conversations that carry on into the night.
Families, including children, are also
heartily welcome to stay at BSU. Participants may extend
their stay in the residence halls beyond the conference
dates. While here, family members are encouraged to
enjoy the abundant recreational opportunities offered
by BSU's Outdoor Program Center and the surrounding
Bemidji area.
The rate is $15.00 per night for a single. Contact us for family rates.
Smoking is not permitted in residence hall and campus buildings. This includes residence hall rooms and public areas.

are included in the conference fee.

RecreationBSU's Outdoor Program Center is open to the public and offers pontoon cruises, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, open water skiing, clinics and safety courses, weekend excursions, and more. A state of the art indoor climbing Rock Wall was opened in September 2000. Outdoor equipment rental is available for individual Boundary Waters adventures. The OPC is fully staffed and features programs for every ability level.
