Dr. Misty Condiff is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians in North Dakota. She grew up on multiple reservations in North and South Dakota. As a minority nurse, she is passionate about mentoring minority students interested in a health care career.
Dr. Condiff earned her Associate in Science degree in Nursing in 1997 (Hibbing Community College, a BSN in 2001 (Bemidji State University), an MSN in 2005 (University of North Dakota) and a PhD in 2009 (University of Minnesota-Twin Cities). She taught for eight years at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Wadena. She was an adjunct instructor for BSU and UND. Prior to teaching, her nursing experience was in emergency care, medical-surgical, and maternal-child health. Her teaching interests include transcultural nursing, nursing research and leadership.
She is married to Rich and has three children: Zachary, Quinn and Avaya.
