Miriam White has been teaching in the special education field since 1988. She has taught students with a variety of disabilities in grades 1-12. She is in her second year of teaching full-time at Bemidji State University in the Professional Education Department.
Her focus is on Special Education and Elementary Education Language Arts. Previously, Miriam served for seven years as an adjunct professor at Bemidji State University in the Special Education Department. She has been a trainer for the Minnesota Department of Education’s new Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) manual, is part of the SLD leadership team and is president of the Minnesota Chapter for Learning Disabilities. Miriam holds her Master of Science in Special Education.
