Biography

Tricia earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice, with a focus on Nursing Organizational Leadership, from Winona State University. Tricia holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing, with a focus on nursing education, from Western Governors University.

Before teaching, Tricia worked in acute psychiatric nursing for several years. Tricia brings nursing experience in psychiatric, medical/surgical, informatics, occupational, and long-term care to her teaching practice. She has nursing education experience in theory, lab, clinical, and online settings.

Tricia is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing, Midwest Nursing Research Society, and Sigma Theta Tau. Tricia uses her passion for psychiatric nursing and education to mentor, inspire, and support students on their journey.
