Laurie Desiderato is a Professor in the Psychology Department and has been part of the BSU faculty since 1993. Laurie has served as a member of the Center for Professional Development since Spring 2008 and as the Director beginning in 2010. Prior to that time she was actively involved with the Center as a frequent presenter of CDP sponsored events, UTAP faculty participant, and mentor for new faculty. Her current interests include faculty development, classroom assessment and program evaluation, and environmental sustainability. Her contributions to the Center include expertise in assessment, research, grant writing, conflict mediation, and a strong interest in supporting new faculty development.
