Spam and Virus Filtering Instructions for GroupWise Desktop Client

Step 1: Verify that you have GroupWise 6.5 installed.

• Open GroupWise Client
• Click on HELP > About GroupWise
• then look at the version number.

If it is not 6.5.3, you must install the update:
BSU GroupWise Client 6.5.3 Installer [Windows & Internet Explorer ONLY]

You will see the following window.

Step 2: Set up Junk Mail Handling

• Go to Tools Æ Junk Mail Handling
• Check the box “Enable Junk List” as shown below.
• Check the box to “Enable Block List.”
