| Chat | The Chat tool allows you to communicate with class members via text while online in D2L at the same time. |
| Checklist | The Checklist tool allows the instructor to list assignments for the class. You can then 'check off' each assignment as it is completed. |
| Classlist | The Classlist provides a list of students currently enrolled in a class. You can also use it to check who is online and to send emails and pages. |
| Content | The Content tool gives you access to course materials such as the syllabus, readings, and lecture notes. |
| Discussions | The Discussions tool can be used for online discussions among the members of the class. |
| Dropbox | The Dropbox provides a convenient way for you to electronically submit assignments. |
| Grades | The Grades tool allows you to check your grades on assignments and tests. |
| Locker | The Locker tool allows you to upload and store files. Your personal locker files are confidential, unless you choose to make them public. Group locker areas allow you to work collaboratively on files with others. |
| Pager | The Pager allows you to 'page' your instructor and classmates by sending a short text message. |
| Quizzes | The Quizzes tool allows you to take a quiz or exam and view the results. |
| Schedule | The Schedule tool allows you to view dates posted by your instructor, such as project due dates, office hours, and exam information.. You can also create private schedule items. |
