Email Address Information

Faculty and staff have the domain name of bemidjistate.edu. Faculty and staff email addresses are in the format jdoe@bemidjistate.edu.

Student email accounts have the domain of live.bemidjistate.edu. Student email addresses are in the format smit1jac@st.bemidjistate.edu (First four letters of the last name, a number and first three letters of the first name).

In 2003 BSU adopted a policy requiring BSU students to monitor their BSU-assigned email accounts. Administrative offices and faculty should make every effort to correspond with students using the BSU assigned email addresses.
