Spam and Virus Filtering in GroupWise Desktop Client

Step 1: Verify that you have the newest version of GroupWise installed.

  • Open GroupWise Client
  • Click on HELP > About GroupWise
  • then look at the version number.

If it is not the most current version of GroupWise you can download the newest version through the BSU portal.

Step 2: Set up Junk Mail Handling

  • Go to Tools - Junk Mail Handling
  • Check the box "Enable Junk List" as shown below.
  • Check the box to "Enable Block List."
