Programming, Networking, Servers

ITS provides a number of core services to the campus community:

  • Programming - database and programming assistance for special projects and report generation  for offices needing statistical information, demographic information about students. Contact Russ Hansen for more information.
  • Networking - networking, security, and infrastructure support for both BSU and NTC campuses. Contact Mike Smith, network administrator, for more information.
  • Servers - the server team maintains and implements servers providing email, web, groupware, and a number of other technical services for both for BSU and NTC campuses. Contact Russ Hansen for more information.

Test Scoring Service

Information Technology Services provides a test scoring service using a software package called Remark from NCS Pearson. This service uses special forms that can be marked to record answers to questions. The special forms are then scanned using an NCS scanner. Reports are generated and e-mailed to the requestor in Microsoft Excel format.

The test scoring service is available during normal business hours. Under normal conditions, test results are available in approximately 24 hours.
