Circulation Policies for the Circulation Desk Media Collection

Location

Items in this collection are located at the Circulation Desk on the third (main) floor of the A. C. Clark Library. People wishing to use an item from this collection should request the item at the Circulation Desk, using the item's call number (e.g. VIDEO VHS PN1997 .B767 1990).

Loan Periods

This collection includes some items which circulate to students, faculty, and staff and other items which may be checked out of the building only by faculty and graduate assistants.

1 Week Circulation Items for BSU Students, Faculty, and Staff Items

	BSU Undergraduate Students:           7 days
BSU Graduate Students and Assistants: 7 days
BSU Faculty and Staff: 7 days
Non-University Borrowers: 3-hours, in library use only

Renewals Possible: No

Overdue Charges and borrowing privileges

  • Borrowing privileges are suspended until the item is either returned or replacement charges are paid.
  • Replacement cost for each item which becomes 15 days overdue.
  • If a billed item is returned, the borrower will be credited the amount billed.
  • Any person who removes an "in library use only" item from the library will be assessed charges per day for each item removed. The A. C. Clark Library reserves the right to levy a disciplinary charge above and beyond any normal overdue charges on any borrower whom the library deems has flagrantly violated the library's circulation policies.

Library Use Only Except for BSU Faculty and Graduate Assistants Items

	BSU Undergraduate Students:	3-hours, in library use only
BSU Graduate Students: 3-hours, in library use only
BSU Graduate Assistants: 7 days
BSU Faculty and Staff: 7 days
Non-University Borrowers: 3-hours, in library use only

Renewals Possible: No

Overdue Charges and borrowing privileges

  • A charge of $2.00 per item per day, up to days 4 overdue.
  • Library privileges are suspended until the item is either returned or all charges are paid.
  • Replacement cost for each item which becomes more than 4 days overdue.
  • If a billed item is returned, the borrower will be credited the amount billed minus any fines incurred.
  • Any person who removes an "in library use only" item from the library will be assessed charges per day for each item removed. The A. C. Clark Library reserves the right to levy a disciplinary charge above and beyond any normal overdue charges on any borrower whom the library deems has flagrantly violated the library's circulation policies.
