  ACS journal publications
Search and view the full text of all American Chemical Society journals from 1879 - 1995. BSU students, faculty, and staff also have access to the full publication runs of more than ten ACS Journal titles, including the following::

    Chemical Abstracts provides article citations and abstracts to a vast array of chemistry-related research. A standard in the chemistry discipline, BSU Library's print holdings for this index runs from v.1-v.105 (1907-1986). Note: Citations that are not available in the library's electronic or print holdings can be ordered through Interlibrary Loan.
      General Science Collection
    "General Science Collection consists of over 200 journals encompassing the most popular scientific titles available." Also includes the Journal of Chemical Education and several chemical industry magazines.

      SciTech Connect
    “SciTech Connect is a portal to free, publicly accessible Department of Energy (DOE) research and development (R&D) results. SciTech Connect contains all the full-text documents and citations previously found in Information Bridge and Energy Citations Database.       Academic Search Premier
    "Academic Search Premier contains indexing for nearly 8,050 publications, with full text for more than 4,600 of those titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable references are provided for more than 1,000 titles. Academic Search Premier contains full text coverage in biology, chemistry, education, engineering, humanities, physics, psychology, religion and theology, sociology, etc."
      Directory of Open Access Journals
    This award-winning web site covers free, full text, quality controlled (peer-reviewed) scientific and scholarly journals. Coverage includes most subjects in many languages. There are now 5175 journals in the directory. Currently 2142 journals are searchable at article level and over 400,000 individual articles. A list of Chemistry journals can be found here.
      Electronic Periodicals Available Via BSU
    The library has access to full-text content to over 20,000 journals online. You can search for a specific periodical title, by ISSN, or browse a list of E-Journals.

      SAGE Journals Online with access to Sage Full Text Collections
    "SAGE publishes more than 500 journals in Business, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science, Technology and Medicine."
      ScienceDirect
    Emphasizes scientific, technical, and medical information, including many full-text Chemistry journals. "Using ScienceDirect you can access over 1,200 peer reviewed academic journals, search over 30 million abstracts from scientific articles and link out to articles from over 80 other publishers."

      Britannica Online Academic Edition

      Visual Elements Periodic Table
    This Flash and HTML-based website by the Royal Society of Chemistry provides an excellent and entertaining method for finding information about your favorite elements. With an interactive periodic table menu, you can select any of the 109 listed elements to enter its personal page. For more in-depth information, print out its chemical data in PDF format. Note: Be sure to disable your pop-up blocker since this site uses pop-ups.

      ACS Style Guide
    Style guide developed by the American Chemical Society to be used by researches in the field of chemistry. Topics include grammar, style, usage, illustrations, tables, lists, and units of measure.
      BSU Interlibrary Loan Services
    The BSU Interlibrary Loan service is available for ordering materials not available in the BSU Library, or accessible through the Library's electronic collections.
    Journal articles requested are delivered electronically. Books, videos, DVDs, and all other returnable items can be ordered for pick up at the BSU Library, or, for distance learners, delivery to your home.
