Interlibrary Loan

Currently affiliated Bemidji State University students, faculty and staff may use the BSU Interlibrary Loan service.  Materials not owned by the BSU Library, as well as materials owned but currently checked out, may be requested.  Materials on course reserve or in the Reference Collection, as well as materials available in the BSU Library collections (not currently checked out), cannot be requested.

Request an Article

Within the library's Online Resources, click on the "BSU Links to Full Text" button to find the article online or in the BSU Library collections.  If not available either way, click on the "Request via Interlibrary Loan" link to request it.

If you are not searching in a library database, check the library's list of electronic periodicals for online access and the library's catalog to see if your item is in the BSU library collections.  If not available either way, use this blank form to request your article.

Request a Book (DVD, Video, etc.)

Search the BSU Library catalog first to see if the book is available in the BSU Library collections.  If not available, search the MnPALS catalog, and if found, click on the "ILL Request" button to request it.  If not found, you can search further in the MnLINK catalog, in Worldcat.org, or use this blank form to request the item you need.
