Design tech student earns EXHIBITOR Media Group Student Achievement Award

BEMIDJI, Minn. (May 17, 2010) – Bemidji State University senior Mackenzie Kaplan has won the 2010 EXHIBITOR Media Group Student Achievement Award.

The award recipient is selected by the faculty in the design technology program and awarded by EXHIBITOR. Kaplan was noted for her academic performance and leadership in the classroom and in the University’s Exhibit Club.

As the 2010 award recipient, Kaplan received a Gold Passport to EXHIBITOR2010: The World Conference and Exhibition on Trade Show and Corporate Event Marketing, held in Las Vegas and a one-year subscription to EXHIBITOR magazine. She also will have her name engraved on a plaque displayed in Bridgeman Hall, home of the design technology program.

Mackenzie, a Bemidji resident, is a senior and will graduate in December 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Design Technology with a specialization in Exhibition Design.
