Psychology Club Teams Up with Evergreen Youth Shelter

BEMIDJI, Minn. (Nov. 16, 2011) — The Bemidji State University Psychology Club is collecting clothes, food, games, towels and much more to give to the Evergreen Youth Shelter in Bemidji.  Donations will be collected now through Nov. 18.

This is the first year the club has partnered with the youth shelter.  Members of the psychology club wanted to start the fundraiser to take part in something non-profit and found it inspiring to help those in need.  The Evergreen Youth Shelter provides counseling, shelter, food, and clothes to children and their parents in the Bemidji community.

Drop-off locations for donations will be in Linden, Tamarack, Pine, Oak, and Maple Halls, upper union’s information desk, and lower union’s organization tables from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.  Cash donations are also being collected.
