BSU students attend Association for Campus Sustainability conference

Fourteen students from Bemidji State University traveled to Decorah, Iowa, Nov. 7-9 for the Upper Midwest Association for Campus Sustainability (UMACS) Conference hosted by Luther College. UMACS is a non-profit organization that focuses on sustainability in higher education institutions throughout the region.

The conference serves as an information resource and networking tool for students, faculty, staff and others who are seeking to bring sustainable practices to their campuses. UMACS connects campuses throughout Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin by creating an outlet for college and universities to become the leaders in manifesting a more sustainable society.
