Bemidji State University Unveils 17-foot Shoreline Sculpture

Wood carver Curtis Ingvodlstad, from Nerstrand, Minnesota, has created a log sculpture near the Lake Bemidji shoreline behind Hobson Memorial Union on the Bemidji State University campus.

The 17-foot-tall white pine log, which came from the trees removed from Chet Anderson Stadium during the 2013 turf renovation project, has been transformed to depict wildlife found in the water, land and air near campus.
