The Bemidji State University Wind Ensemble will hold a fall concert on Sunday, Nov. 2.
The concert begins at 3:00 p.m. in the Main Theatre of Bemidji State’s Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens; BSU students are admitted free with a valid ID.
The ensemble will perform six pieces including “Allerseelen” by Richard Strauss and “Four Dances from West Side Story” by Leonard Bernstein.
The Wind Ensemble is open to all BSU students. Of the 36 student performers, 11 are non-music majors. In addition to regularly programmed campus concerts, the Wind Ensemble hosts the Northern Minnesota Honor Band, an annual band festival for many of Minnesota’s top high school musicians.
