Website Honors Business Administration Program For Affordability

Bemidji State University’s business administration program has been ranked among the 30 most-affordable in the country by the website College Choice.

Bemidji State’s program ranked 10th on the site’s “Most Affordable Undergraduate Business Schools, 2016” list. College Choice assembled its list from regionally accredited universities with accredited business programs and the lowest tuition for out-of-state students.

BSU’s College of Business offers a variety of programs and minors, to tailor a business degree to fit a student’s career goals. All BSU students start with a foundation in business administration, which provides a breadth of knowledge and skills in accounting, economics, law, mathematics, statistics, operations, marketing, management, finance, information systems and strategic management, among others.

BSU’s online business administration degree is 2+2 degree-completion program which requires either 62 or 65 credits, depending on a student’s emphasis. The program, like all BSU online and off-site undergraduate programs, is a transfer program that allow students to complete a bachelor’s degree after earning an associate’s degree in the arts, science or applied science, or after completing the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum.

Supporting students already in the workforce or who have family or other responsibilities, the BSU’s online business administration program allows the flexibility and convenience offered through online programs. Classes are centered on entrepreneurship, finance, management and marketing, giving students an understanding of business and administrative practices. Online programs at BSU give students the same opportunities to participate in class discussions, post assignments and receive feedback from professors that they would have on campus.

Bemidji State’s Center for Extended Learning is dedicated to assisting off-campus students, beginning with the the application process and connecting them with the programs and services they may need.
