Touché Gallery to host Montgomery’s "Adventures in Time and Space"

BEMIDJI, Minn. (April 11, 2012) — Oren Montgomery, a senior in art from Bemidji, opens a senior show, “Adventures in Time and Space,” in Bemidji State University’s Touché Gallery on Monday, April 23.

The show features Montgomery’s work in metals and paper.

“The pieces in this show are meant to evoke a feeling of warmth and wonder,” Montgomery said. “Bits and pieces of a story are laid out like artifacts belonging to an adventurous wanderer to try and spark the viewer’s imagination.”

Montgomery will host an opening reception for the show at the gallery Monday, April 23, at 6 p.m.

Located in the upper Hobson Memorial Union on the Bemidji State campus, the Touché Gallerie is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The gallery is open at no charge to the public.

For more information about the Touché Gallerie or any of the galleries on the BSU campus, contact the visual arts department at (218) 755-4406.
