Talley Gallery to feature recent work by Steve Sundahl

Steve Sundahl, associate professor of visual arts at Bemidji State University, will show his recent work in a gallery show entitled “Experiments in Moving & Standing” at Bemidji State’s Talley Gallery beginning Friday, May 4.

Sundahl has been on the Bemidji State faculty for 23 years, and “Experiments in Moving & Standing” is a culmination of his recent sabbatical research. The show will include conceptual drawings, models and finished work relating to the concepts of sitting and standing.

Sundahl is an accomplished designer and sculptor whose work can be found throughout the Bemidji community. He has designed pieces for Neilson Place, the Beltrami County History Center, First Lutheran Chapel, and in the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex and Ramsey Gallery on the Bemidji State campus. Located in room 212 of the Education Arts building on the campus of Bemidji State University, the Talley Gallery is barrier-free and open at no charge to the public. All activities in the Talley Gallery are supported by the University’s Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee and Bemidji State University’s Department of Visual Arts.
