BSU student wins EXHIBITOR student achievement award

BEMIDJI, Minn. (March 23, 2011) — Bemidji State University student Stephanie Jacoby was named the recipient of the 2011 EXHIBITOR Media Group Student Achievement Award, as announced by the EXHIBITOR Media Group earlier this month.

The award recipient is selected by the faculty in Bemidji State’s design technology program and is awarded by EXHIBITOR Media Group. Jacoby, a senior in design technology from Clements, Minn., was selected for the award based on her academic performance, leadership in the classroom and as a member of  the University’s Exhibit Club.

As the recipient of the award, Jacoby will receive a Gold Passport to EXHIBITOR2011: The World Conference and Exhibition on Trade Show and Corporate Event Marketing, held in Las Vegas from March 27-31. The passport will allow Jacoby access to 13 sessions and three peer-to-peer roundtable discussions at the conference. She also will receive a one-year subscription to EXHIBITOR magazine and will have her name engraved on a plaque in Bemidji State’s Bridgeman Hall, home of the University’s design technology program.
