Matt Sieberg gives March 30 piano recital

Matthew Sieberg, a senior and piano performance major at Bemidji State University, performed a piano recital at the university’s Thompson Recital Hall located in the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex.

Sieberg, from Eagle Lake, Minn., performed on Friday, March 30 at 7:30 as part of his bachelor’s degree in music. His performance included pieces by Frederic Chopin, Sergei Prokofiev, Ludwig V. Beethoven, and J. S. Bach.

In 2011, Sieberg was awarded the Carl O. Thompson Memorial Scholarship. He is also a 2012 Minnesota Music Teachers Association Artistic Ambassador.
