Psych majors present at nation’s largest undergrad research conference

Continuing a 34-year tradition, a dozen Bemidji State University psychology majors presented results of their undergraduate research at the 49th annual Minnesota Undergraduate Psychology Conference in St. Paul, Minn.

The oldest undergraduate psychology conference in the United States, the MUPC provides a forum for undergraduates throughout the upper Midwest to present their research, applications and conceptual papers.

BSU students have presented at the conference since 1980. BSU’s students have presented nearly half of all the papers presented by students representing Minnesota’s state universities, and have made more total presentations that any other public institution.

The conference was held April 26 at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn., and featured keynote speaker Angus MacDonald III of the University of Minnesota.
