Enrollment continues for summer session

BEMIDJI, Minn. (April 22, 2010) — Registration continues for sizzling summer educational opportunities at Bemidji State University. The University is offering hundreds of summer session courses, beginning as early as Wednesday, May 12.

This summer, the University will be offering nearly 200 classes on-campus. The courses are offered on a flexible schedule, with classes taking place in one of three blocks – May Term and Summer Session I and II. Bemidji State’s May term runs May 12-28; Summer Session I runs from June 7-July 9; and Summer Session II runs July 12-Aug. 13. Three-, four- and five-week courses will be offered during each five-week Summer Session.

In addition, Bemidji State’s summer offerings feature nearly 250 courses offered through distance learning either on the Internet or at off-campus locations, with topics ranging from liberal education to graduate-level courses.

Summer sessions also include workshops for teachers, or courses to take just for fun such as international ballroom dancing or the art of screen printing.

The University has on-campus housing options in the newly renovated Linden Hall, which features private bedrooms and bathrooms, wireless Internet access and air conditioning.

Registration for summer sessions at Bemidji State University are now open. Interested participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible for best course selection.
