High school students entering grades 8-10 this fall and interested in exploring careers in health care can attend a two-day camp at Bemidji State University sponsored by the Northwest Minnesota Area Health Education Center.

In addition to investigating the wide variety of career opportunities in the health care field, campers will tour medical facilities, network with college students, faculty and health professionals in the area, and participate in a number of hands-on learning and leadership activities.

The two-day residential camp will be held at Bemidji State University, June 17-18.

The camp carries a $100 fee, which includes camp fees, meals and on-campus lodging for one night; scholarships are available for students who qualify. Interested students are encouraged to register early, as the camp has a participation limit of 30. An application form is available online.

Scrubs Camp is sponsored by Bemidji State University, Northwest Technical College and the Northwest Minnesota Area Health Education Center.
