Small Business Development Center to hold May 8 open house

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Northwest Regional Small Business Development Center, in conjunction with the Marketing Assistance Research Solutions, will be hosting an open house Thursday, May 8, at the Bemidji State University Center for Research and Innovation, an off-campus facility located at 3801 Bemidji Ave N. in Bemidji.

The open house, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled to be held from 5-7 p.m. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

The open house will be highlighted by a 6 p.m. Marketing Assistance Research Solutions presesentation detailing the results of their recently-conducted Top of Mind survey. The survey asked people in the area what their impressions were of restaurants, hotels, bars, resorts, campgrounds and other entertainment-related businesses in Bemidji.

The Small Business Development Center, housed at the Bemidji State University Center for Research and Innovation, is a state- and federally-funded program that provides free business consulting services to existing small businesses and to individuals who wish to start their own businesses.
